Triora Musica/Casa Convento:

Through Triora Musica we have been running summer courses in renaissance and baroque music for over a decade in Triora, one of Italy's most beautiful small towns, perched high in the Ligurian Alps, but only 1 ½ hours from Nice airport. Since 2012 Casa Convento has also formed the base for many other courses from yoga and acting to photography and walking. This beautiful house, along with its terraced land is now for sale.

The house offers much potential for use as large family or two/three family holiday house, course/conference, walking, mountain biking or retreat centre, guest house, B&B or even self- sufficient eco lodge. The house divides usefully into three separate sleeping/bathroom areas plus beautiful communal spaces inside and out plus a laundry, wine cellar and several cantinas. A separate studio apartment with its own entrance, cooking facilities and bathroom provides a further place of privacy. There are also several areas with potential to expand further.

Outside, as well as a panoramic large terrace for outside dining, there is an English rose garden and enough terraced land to be self-sufficient in vegetables. There are stunning views from every window yet the house is only minutes from all the facilities of Triora. There are entrances on two levels: from the main entrance on Via Cava it is a 2 minute walk from street parking outside the pedestrian-only centro storico, but there are also parking bays outside the lower entrance with a walk up through the terraced land.

Heating is a mix of pellet stoves, woodburners, electric underfloor heating in 2 of the bathrooms and electric radiators in all four.
