May 17th - 22nd Make your polyphony dance! Book for this course

With Deborah Roberts and Janet Coxwell (the Tallis Scholars)

A short course for intermediate level singers who can read music and who sing regularly in choirs

An action packed course designed to kick start your singing and ensemble skills and to give you a great time doing so!

Participants will work on a range of music, to include some traditional music as well as sacred polyphony, madrigals and lively rounds and catches.

Daily warm ups will include Janet Coxwell's famous dance routines aimed at building a strong sense of rhythm and pulse. These short dance sessions have been hugely popular at Tallis Scholar Summer schools.

You need no experience whatsoever as all routines are simple and are clearly taught. There will also be vocal clinics with an opportunity to discuss common vocal problems and improve upon technique and confidence. We will end the course with an informal concert.

This is a great opportunity to work with two of the most experienced singers of polyphony in the world. They also know how to have a great time!
